The owners of Primify LLC were seeking an eCommerce web design and development company to assist them with the development of their new Kratom website. However, they were aware that this project presented some unique challenges. The challenges were related to Kratom being a high risk product that was restricted for internet sales by most credit card processing companies. This required the selection of a specialized credit card processor and numerous other functionality that would help restrict the sale of the products to individuals over the age of 21, plus the restriction of sales to specific zip codes in the United States. This new client was happy to see that we have done this before. Once they learned of all of our eCommerce capabilities, they knew that we were the best local website development company among all the other local Chicago eCommerce developers that they interviewed.
In addition to helping them build a custom Kratom eCommerce website, we were sure to implement proper metadata for search engine optimization (SEO). This was extra important because we knew that advertising their website would also be a challenge, due to Kratom being restricted by Google Ad's and Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram). Therefore, we manually authored intelligent page titles and meta descriptions for all of their eCommerce Kratom products. We do NOT use Artificial Intelligence to perform this task as we must be careful to satisfy Google's guidelines, while touching all the bases relative to key words, phrases, brand and product names.

Age Checker Pop-Up: Due to this eCommerce website selling Kratom products, we included a lightbox pop-up for age verification.
Zip Code Restriction: Due to this eCommerce website selling Kratom products, the client is required by law to restrict the sales and shipment to any customers with addresses in certain Zip Codes and States. Therefore, we implemented a plugin to satisfy this requirement.
Credit Card Processing for High Risk Products: Clients that sell tobacco, kratom and other high risk products must have a special merchant account that permits these types of transactions. AdverGroup can assist with the procurement of merchant processors that allow the sale of Tobacco, Kratom and other high risk products. For this client we configured their payment gateway to work with this high risk merchant account processor.
Authoring of Policies to Satisfy High Risk Credit Card Processing Merchant: In order to achieve approval for high risk credit card processing, a website owner must have policies authored that satisfy their unique requirements. AdverGroup authored this clients policies for refunds, terms & conditions, etc., to satisfy their high risk credit card processing company.

- Custom Wordpress WooCommerce eCommerce Theme Design. We build all websites considering how they will appear on mobile devices, as over 70% of website visitors will be using a mobile device when viewing your webpage. - Video Header Slide Show on Home Page. We implemented an easy to use video header component on this clients WordPress website. This component is also used to produce many of the product and category sliders on the website. We also embedded a custom logo ticker that would allow brand logos to scroll smoothly with a video background behind them.
- Export and Modify of Client's eCommerce Product Feed .This client had a pre-existing WooCommerce eCommerce website. However, the data feed possessed little or no content other than product name, categories and a brief product description. We modified their "product feed" so that could be imported into the new WooCommerce eCommerce build, ensuring that all products possessed Intelligent Page Titles, Meta-Descriptions and SEO optimized page content.
- Product Photography by others, edited to remove all backgrounds. Unfortunately, before bringing AdverGroup onto the project, this client had hired another photographer to take photos of their products. This photographer was not well organized and had zero experience in formatting images for use on an eCommerce website. As the images were provided to the client with a number of issues that would have slowed down any other web designer. However, AdverGroup stepped up and organized and re-edited all images, removing backgrounds and sizing all images appropriately for use on their new eCommerce website.
